We're extremely excited to announce the teams that will be a part of our newest ON Accelerate cohort! This round was extremely competitive, with 20 amazing teams attending Bootcamp. In fact, it was too hard to pick just ten teams, so this cohort will have 11!

With technologies that span from the quantum realm all the way out to space, it's going to be a huge program. Formal proceedings for the team kick off in February 2020 with Immersion Week, and we can't wait to see what they achieve in ON Accelerate.

Our teams are:

  • AloxiTec - A packaging material that can extend the shelf life of fresh food without the use of refrigeration or chemical processing.
  • AMEDA2 - A test for predicting athletic performance and risk of injury.
  • HydGene Renewables – Bacteria that have been bio-engineered to produce hydrogen from sustainable feedstock that can be used in stand-alone battery systems.
  • Laronix - An artificial larynx that uses AI to help larynx amputees speak again.
  • Maslow - A mobile application that allows people with spinal cord injury to better self-manage and improves health outcomes.
  • Nomad Atomics - Next generation sensors for monitoring underground resources such as water and gas.
  • Quantum Brilliance - A quantum computing platform that operates at room temperature without the need for complex cooling systems.
  • Rapid Repair - A device that improves wound healing rates and minimises scarring.
  • Raven IoT - A sensor system to monitor laboratory fume hoods with the goal of increasing safety and reducing energy usage.
  • Redback Systems - A compact and affordable spectrograph with higher resolution board-spectrum imaging.
  • Space Services Australia - Rapid and robust testing of miniaturised satellites to minimise in-orbit faults.
